HOW TO PLAY
ICARUS is a game that emulates realistic sailing mechanics. If you want to move in a boat, you have to work for it.
STEP 1: PRESS F TO GET INTO THE BOAT

Depending on your boat's rotation compared to the wind (which can be told from the red "flag" blowing at the top of your mast) you need to let out or pull in your sail (with your scroll wheel) so that your boat moves forward. When you are sailing within roughly 20 degrees into the wind, however, you will be "stuck in irons" and won't move.
If you are sitting on the wrong side of the boat (you sit opposite of where the sail is) the boat will start rotating and you must PRESS F to switch sides. Similarly, if you are in motion your boat will start "keeling", or rotating, due to pressure on the sail. PRESS R to lean backward to counteract the force. (You can't die yet so you will just be in an awkward position)

PRESS G to get out of the boat. The boat will first level before you can start moving around.

Currently, the game is designed around a mouse, I want this game to be playable on Chromebooks specifically so that needs to be addressed fast.

MENU SCREEN
- right now the sensitivity may be too high or the FOV might be too small.
- ISLAND STORYLINE
- believe it or not, this game also has a story. For now, the prototype is just an infinite sailing simulator, but that will be added soon.
